Mohamed Abbas, PhD
He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electronics engineering from Assiut University,Egypt. In October 2002 he joined the VLSI design and Education Center (VDEC), University of Tokyo, Japan as a visiting researcher. In March 2003 he joined the Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo, where he got the PhD degree from EE Dept. in Sept. 2006. In October 2006, he joined Assiut University,Egypt as a faculty member of the Electrical Engineering Dept. From July 2008 to September 2010, he had been working as a post-doctor researcher in Advantest D2T research Division, VDEC, the University of Tokyo. From October 2010 he rejoined Assiut University,Egypt as a faculty member of Electrical Eng. Dept. He is a member of IEEE Solid State Circuits Society; Technical Committee of IEEE International Symposium on Electronic System Design (ISED), IEEE International Design and Test Symposium (IDT). His research interests include Designing of high-reliability low-power VLSI circuits and systems and Testing of mixed signal circuits.
