Knowledge Mapping

Knowledge Management is the discipline of enabling individuals, teams and entire organisations to collectively and systematically create, share, apply and use of knowledge, to better achieve their objectives.

The main tasks of Knowledge Management are monitoring, controlling, storing, distributing and evaluating knowledge construction.
Employee knowledge network EKN focuses on core areas and expertise of the    employee as well as their knowledge resources and experiential knowledge that has not been documented and unstructured.

The deployment of EKN in any organizations enables:

  • Conducting Knowledge assessment within organizations.
  • Time and Cost effective way to assess and capture the Knowledge.
  • Useful for analyzing Knowledge areas in an organization.
  • Organizational-relevant features are clearly highlighted.
  • Serves an effective way for surveying, assessing and linking the information, Knowledge, competencies held by individuals and groups within an organization.
