Work History

2017 up to date – Head of Computer Science department in Zulfi collage of science at Majmaah University, Riyadh, KSA.

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing Computer science and Information departments and all its aspects.

- Leading the university’s efforts in renewing its IT infrastructure and enhancing e-services.

- Ensure that Computer Science and Information has a very high profile in the life of the Academy.

- Promote an enthusiasm and a passion in students for Computer Science and Information.

- Develop links with main feeder schools in order to promote transition into department.

- Have a clear vision regarding how Computer Science and Information  should be taught,
developed and assessed in light of curriculum changes, ensuring that the Computer Science and Information curriculum matches student need / interests.

- Lead and develop Computer Science and Information through a team approach.

- Ensure that the delivery of Computer Science and Information at University meets statutory requirements .

- Promote and develop high quality teaching and learning in Computer Science and Information.

- Contribute to and support the professional development of subject staff

- Ensure that the department demands the highest expectations of all students.

- Lead the Computing/ICT team to make a significant contribution to students’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development through  Computer Science and Information, which includes the use of resources linked to typical issues.

- Assist in the implementation of the behaviours management system within the subject area so that effective learning can take place.

- Quality assure the department’s assessment practices.

- Chair of the following:

- Computer Science and Information department Council.

- Higher Committee of Computer Science and Information department.

- Committee of Teaching assistants, lecturers and scholarships.

- Graduation Projects Committee.

- Academic and External Accreditation Committee.

- Member of the following councils and committees:

- College of Sciences Council.

- Committee of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- German Academic Accreditation ASIIN.

- Institutional Academic Accreditation.

- Established Cisco Networking Academy.

- Increased Highly ranked publication of the department by around 300% over last three years.

- Proposed the following initiatives in the National Transformation Program:

▪  Two new BSc programs in Computer Science ( Cyber security) and ( Artificial Intelligent).

2003 - 2005 Founder/ Owner of “Furas” the web based state agency.

- Engineered and designed a web base state agency online that can serve national wide to accommodate states and offers creating links between dealer and customers.
