Abstract: A
facile, rapid and efficient microwave-assisted procedure for the synthesis of novel
pyrazole, pyrimidine, and pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines linked to sulfonyl
dibenzene moiety via the reaction of E-3-(N,N-dimethylamino)-1-(4-(phenylsulfonyl)phenyl)prop-2-en-1-one 3 with
the appropriate amines described here. In general, microwave procedure as an
eco-friendly energy source offers advantages such as a shorter reaction time,
simple workup, reaction selectivity and improves an overall yield compared with
conventional methods. The structures of all the compounds were confirmed by
analytical and spectral data.
