“Hearing impairmen
“Hearing impairment”
means an impairment in hearing in one or
both ears, with or without amplification, whether permanent or
fluctuating, that adversely affects a child’s educational performance
but that is not included under the definition of deafness in this
section.
“Highly qualified special education teacher”
means a teacher has
met the requirements as specified in for special
education teachers in general, for special education teachers
teaching core academic subjects, for special education teachers
teaching to alternate achievement standards, or for special
education teachers teaching multiple subjects as it applies to their
teaching assignment.
